The Fog is a Vermont-based band playing an eclectic mix of folk, rock, and jam music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, and original music. Every Fog show contains surprises and music that will put a smile on your face, warm your heart, get you singing a long, and dance the night away.

Covers from artists such as the Beatles, Bob Dylan, CSN, Neil Young, Grateful Dead, Phish, Donovan, The Band, Led Zeppelin, and many more, plus a few originals.

The Fog consists of Gary Beckwith on guitar and vocals, Paul Butler on bass and vocals, Bob Greenlese on drums and vocals, and Jason Antkowiak on keyboards and vocals.

The Fog is available to play venues in the Central Vermont area, and for parties and events.

The Fog plays a wide variety of acoustic and electric music, adapting to the venue and audience. Note: we know a lot of Grateful Dead songs but we are not a Dead cover band! We can easily play an entire show without any Dead songs, and we can do the opposite as well. We are very versatile musically and we give thought to the audience and venue and we like to satisfy everyone’s taste and expectations. We can play smaller venues with toned-down acoustic equipment and we can also play rock and roll and blow the roof off the place and get people dancing. Below are a couple examples.
